amec is organizing two workshops in International English in Barcelona with the aim of providing the key techniques and skills necessary to help people to improve the confidence and practical ability of attendees to present ideas, projects and information with clarity and impact in international business settings.

Workshop 1 : Dynamic Presentations

Day: June, 25

Audience

This program is aimed at people who make presentations to colleagues, clients or business partners in meetings or conventions;  marketing managers, finance managers, general managers, project or product managers, sales professionals, scientists and technicians, human resources professionals, IT managers, supply chain professionals and purchasing teams, for example.

Course content

·         How does a good speaker become an excellent speaker?

·         When should you give your message? Why?

·         The power of belief

·         How to overcome your nerves

·         How do you get the attention of an audience?

·         How to structure your presentation and reduce your preparation time by at least 25%

·         Introduction to 3 rhetorical techniques

·         The Question and Answer period.

·         Posture, Poise and Presence influence  your communication

Workshop 2 : Negotiation Conversations

Day: July, 2

Audience

Executives and associates who negotiate with colleagues, clients or business partners. Typically, participants include marketing managers, finance managers, general managers, project or product managers, sales professionals, scientists and technicians, human resources professionals, IT managers, supply chain professionals, purchasing teams, R&D….

Course Content:

·           Acquire increased confidence in your ability to negotiate in English

·           Learn to say the right thing, at the right time, in the right way

·           4 stages to successful negotiation

·           Resisting pressure and tactics

·           Develop the courage and commitment to go for what you want

·           Network with like-minded professionals who face similar challenges

 

Format / Formato

From 10:00 to 18:00h (Lunch/networking included), plus follow up individual telephone coaching practice in 4 sessions.
De 10:00 a 18:00 h (comida/networking incluida), más cuatro sesiones telefónicas.

Methodology / Metodología

Brief didactic presentations, small group discussions, role play practice, language practice. 
Presentaciones didácticas, grupos de trabajo, prácticas de rol, prácticas de lenguaje.
